It all started with a road trip to Austin, Texas with a friend in the Fall of 2007, lots of time in the car and tons to talk about. At the time, Gerritt Whittaker and Stephanie Weibring had so much in common both currently owned very successful paper companies on their own but found themselves drowning in the sea of similarity. Gerritt and Stephanie both excel and relish in the areas the other does not.
Just before Gerritt's first daughter Abby was born in 2006 she purchased the domain name www.abbylulu.com and just held on to it, not really sure what she was going do with it. Then it all clicked as we got lost in the road construction just outside Austin...Abby Lulu a digitally designed and printed photo card and announcement company. Stephanie would be the primary designer and that's it... getting to do what she loved and her true passion. Gerritt would do the rest. It was a perfect match and Abby Lulu was born!
Abby Lulu has really found a niche in the market. Our digital custom photo cards, invitations and announcements are far superior to anything else out on the market today. Abby Lulu's specialty is designing and creating a card that includes your photo on the card. No need to adhere a picture after the card has been printed.
Our announcements and invitations are printed on extra heavy matte card stock with your photo pre-printed on the card. Abby Lulu has hundreds and hundreds of designs to choose from. As a customer you are able to also purchase return address labels, gift tags and stickers that match your announcement. We also offer custom and in stock programs for placemats and note pads!
